Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage AP specialists to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Oversee full-cycle accounts payable for multiple legal entities and projects, including processing high-volume invoices and ensuring proper coding to GL Accounts, projects and legal entities. Manage disbursements across multiple bank accounts while maintaining strong internal controls. Utilize Corpay to streamline payments, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Enforce compliance with company policies, approval hierarchies, and internal controls. Partner with cross-functional teams including project accounting, procurement, and treasury to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial reporting. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy. Take responsibility for processing and coding invoices during high-volume periods. Design and document scalable AP processes to support growth and reduce manual intervention. Prepare and review aging reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation as needed. Serve as a key point of contact for vendors regarding invoice and payment status. Make judgment calls and resolve issues independently, especially when AP specialists require support. Qualifications
Experience in the renewable energy industry strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with Corpay Experience with Expensify strongly preferred Proven ability to manage AP across multiple legal entities and projects. Experience handling multiple bank accounts and related reconciliations. Strong knowledge of AP best practices and GAAP. Proficiency in Excel including the use of pivot tables and lookup functions. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume and high-growth environment. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships. High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity. Demonstrated success in building or improving AP processes and systems. Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 10 years of professional work experience, with 5 years of progressive AP experience, and 2 years in a leadership/management role Compensation & Benefits
$110,000 - $130,000 Annually This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Jupiter Power considers a number of factors when determining starting compensation such as the position requirements and the candidate's qualifications. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity programs. Jupiter Power offers a variety of other benefits including paid time off, 401k with limited matching, health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance, disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
