Position Overview We are seeking a results‑driven and team‑oriented Vice President to join our Real Estate Advisory team. The Vice President will assist in delivering comprehensive real estate advisory services to institutional investor clients and supporting discretionary mandates. They will play an important role in the analysis of real estate managers and funds, from initial meeting through due diligence and the preparation and delivery of investment committee materials. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of real estate investments, funds, and manager due diligence, paired with a client‑first mindset. They will have a career progression toward becoming a trusted advisor and client coverage manager, covering investment matters ranging from portfolio design to fund selection and related topics. Key Responsibilities

Investment Sourcing & Evaluation

Source, evaluate, and track real estate fund offerings, including networking with the GP community and conducting regular meetings to learn and vet offerings. Communicate with managers about fund availability and demand; source potential secondaries and co‑investments. Perform due diligence on investment managers and fund offerings (investment strategy, track record, team, structure, alignment of interests); write fund summaries and investment committee memos; review PPMs, DDQs, track records, and related materials; interview references. Present and support fund recommendations to the Real Estate Funds Investment Committee, Portfolio Risk Management Committee, and, as needed, to clients. Mentor and train more junior team members. Proficiency with SPI (StepStone Private Intelligence) and other firm technology; adapt to new technologies as needed.

Client Relationship Management

Contribute to client deliverables and conversations, including pipeline reviews, investment recommendations, annual plans, portfolio reviews, and ad hoc client requests; assist with new business development as needed. Respond promptly to client inquiries with high service standards and clear communication. Monitor real estate market trends and context for investment decisions; discuss insights with clients as appropriate.

Education, Work Experience and Other Requirements

BA/BS in Real Estate, Private Equity, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience 6+ years in real estate private equity consulting, portfolio management (preferred) or capital markets roles Experience diligencing and underwriting commingled fund structures or SMAs Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success Ability to represent the Firm credibly in written and interpersonal communications Strong analytical capabilities, including quantitative/modeling skills Leadership potential High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Power BI experience is desirable Developing investment judgment and understanding of risk/reward trade-offs Flexibility to perform multiple functions as the firm grows Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies Availability to travel, primarily within the eastern US Positive, respectful, team‑oriented attitude Other Attributes

Applied experience in valuation and investment analysis (capital structures and cash flow waterfalls) Experience managing and training junior team members High level of confidentiality Commitment to learning CFA, CPA, or CAIA a plus Salary Range - $150,000 - $155,000 The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary based on location, education, skill, and experience. The range does not include benefits or other forms of compensation.
