Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students to support their understanding of Cost Accounting. Accept on-demand tutoring requests and adapt sessions to student needs and availability. Use the platform to deliver personalized instruction and reinforce key concepts. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Cost Accounting and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. What We Look For In a Tutor
Anticipated compensation and platform features include: Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring via our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle logistics; you invoice for tutoring sessions and we manage payments. About Varsity Tutors
