Applied Scientist, Agentic AI at AWS. Join the AWS AI science team to build the next generation models for intelligent automation. Work with technology and business teams to solve real-world problems, access large datasets and computational resources, and collaborate with world-class engineers and developers. Expected to develop innovative solutions and publish findings at peer-reviewed conferences and workshops. Responsibilities
Develop models for business applications and contribute to autonomous agents, API orchestration, planning, large multimodal models (especially vision-language models), reinforcement learning, and sequential decision making. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into scalable AI solutions. Advance research and publish results at conferences and workshops as appropriate. Collaborate with engineers and solution architects to implement and deploy AI capabilities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience building models for business applications. PhD, or Master's degree with 2+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience. Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals. Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languages. Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using Unix/Linux. Experience in professional software development.
