Fully Remote Tax Senior Opportunity (CPA Needed) - Trusts & Estates - Exp. with 706, 709, 1041, 541 - Award-Winning Regional Firm Salary $100,000 - $150,000 per year Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare/review IRS Forms 706 (Estate), 709 (Gift), 1041 (Fiduciary), and CA Form 541 Support post-death tax planning, trust funding, and sub-trust allocations Analyze estate documents and tax implications Collaborate with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors Handle IRS/state notices and assist with audits Conduct research on estate, gift, fiduciary, and GST issues Qualifications
Active CA CPA license 4+ years’ trust and estate tax experience (including some with 706, 709, 1041, 541) Proficient with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, CCH Axcess) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Based in CA (or open to remote work with CA clients) Benefits
