Overview
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Support on a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting NIWC PAC. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of an enterprise MECM, formerly SCCM, infrastructure that supports the full life-cycle of over 4,000 Windows clients.
Responsibilities
Design and execute Operating System Deployment (OSD), In-Place Upgrades (IPU), and push configuration changes using MECM.
Perform and monitor large scale and targeted distribution of software or patches via MECM and patch management software.
Perform test and validation of patch deployments using an “early adopters” group within the production environment before deploying them to the general population.
Use the SCCM fast channel and Configuration Manager (CM) Pivot features to isolate and remediate security vulnerabilities as directed by NIWC Pacific Network Security.
Dynamically create collections based on registry settings, Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) calls, and other computer or user attributes for use in remediation, configuration management, or other ad hoc queries as required.

2+ Years of Experience with Windows System Center Configuration Manager
