This role is part of EY’s SAP practice, focused on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) within technology consulting, delivering transformative solutions that improve logistics operations and drive operational efficiency. Your Role
As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions by gathering and analyzing requirements, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions. You may travel to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities
Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes. Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements. Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Participate in Explore phase design workshops. Configure SAP EWM and related SAP modules. Design and document RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) solutions and functional specifications. Test solutions and support the development and delivery of training materials. Provide on-site hypercare support to client warehouse users. Demonstrate strong technical capabilities and business acumen; assimilate new knowledge. Deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed. Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Skills And Attributes For Success
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in defining and analyzing technology-based business requirements. Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis. Ability to manage client relationships and communicate with impact. Ability and willingness to travel (estimated 40-60%). Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Typically 2-4 years’ relevant SAP EWM experience. Strong technical skills in application functional design. Expertise in requirements definition, analysis, and mapping. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues (regulations, industry practices, new technologies). Ability to build and manage relationships effectively; critical thinking and complex problem-solving. Willingness to travel; travel is estimated at 40-60%. Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience. SAP certification(s). Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP EWM implementation. Hands-on SAP system configuration experience. Experience designing RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts and training materials for end users. Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution or manufacturing. What We Look For
