Bring your frontend cloud engineering skills to work on the latest cloud software/web applications. Help deploy and scale the next generation of cloud security using big data and Analytics. We are seeking a Sr Staff Engineer to join the team building our latest cloud security product — Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Our DLP service is the industry’s first cloud-delivered Enterprise DLP that protects sensitive data across networks, clouds, and users while ensuring compliance and data privacy regulations. This role includes building micro services to process terabytes of data across different cloud providers. This role is located at our Santa Clara, California headquarters campus with a team in the office 3 days a week. Your Impact
Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access Collaborate with development and quality assurance groups to deliver high-quality software Suggest and implement improvements to the development process Work with DevOps and Technical Support to troubleshoot customer issues Participate in architecture; define new web-based features for Prisma Access UI & Management software Your Experience
4+ years of industry experience building scalable web applications Proficiency in front-end technologies: React (hooks, Redux, component architecture) Strong back-end development experience in Java and Spring Framework Solid understanding of modern software architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Proven experience leading complex projects and mentoring engineers Education
M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Additional Information
The compensation offered for this position depends on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates offered at the posted level, the starting base salary is typically between $126,000/yr and $195,500/yr, and may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
