Senior Global Supply Manager, Tooling & Ground Support Equipment

Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. This role sits within the Supply Chain team, which turns design intent into executable reality by balancing lead time, cost, and manufacturability to scale Terran R. You will influence decisions across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and more to keep the program on track while building a factory and a business from the ground up. About the Role: Receive drawing sets, develop procurement plans, and get parts and assemblies fabricated at a variety of vendors. Provide feedback to design engineers on ways to decrease cost and lead time for parts. Partner closely with engineering during the design process to improve manufacturability, ROM prices, and lead times. Manage end-to-end RFx process to identify top suppliers, drive competition within a supply market, and maximize value. Negotiate pricing, lead time, terms and conditions to drive the best business outcomes. Lead end-to-end purchase order management and invoice disposition to ensure on-time delivery and payment, including ERP processing. Resolve procurement-related issues arising during the order lifecycle. Collaborate with indirect and direct procurement functions to deliver ongoing value. About You: 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman welder or machinist with 4+ years in a procurement role within a fast-paced manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering function OR 7+ years in procurement within a similar environment, from engineering or related field. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation, including GD&T. Nice to haves (not required): Experience vetting terms, conditions, and contracts for purchases. On-the-floor fabrication (welding, machining, metrology) experience. Knowledge of PLM, ERP, MES; data analysis tools (MS Excel, SQL, Tableau). Demonstrated success negotiating pricing, lead time, and contract terms. At Relativity Space, compensation is determined based on experience and qualifications.
