The opportunity
Our PAS Mobility practice provides services to manage the cost and risks involved in HR plans, programs and systems related to a global workforce. We advise the part of business strategy related to people. As an Immigration Senior, you'll have the opportunity to work with global clients to address their most complex people challenges and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results.
Your key responsibilities
Driving the global coordination of our global immigration accounts, including: Monitoring the progress of individual immigration matters through technology Providing centralized expiry tracking reporting and monthly reminders to the Client designated contact(s) Creating, updating and circulating monthly case status and expiry reports generated by the EY technology tools and as requested from the Client based on available program data Supporting and drive the client’s immigration agenda, supporting regular client engagement and meetings, documenting and tracking follow ups and action items Driving short-term business travel engagements, using technology to identify risk areas and working with downstream subject matter experts in immigration, posted worker, and social security Leading workstreams from planning to implementation – managing resources and budgets effectively Performing risk assessments: Analyzing large sets of data (and leveraging RPA to make that data consumable) to identify downstream compliance risk Consulting on client’s technology ecosystem across HR, Finance, Travel, Payroll to identify most effective technology implementation strategies Supporting with change management as clients implement business travel and immigration programs Generating revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to business development and client pursuit activities Developing understanding of immigration and short-term business travel issues, trends and tools Managing, coaching, and developing junior resources and peers, focusing on their technical and client service skills to develop their career Working across cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to achieve results Possessing a solid understanding of financial management and quality standards

Successful delivery of global compensation projects - demonstrate technical excellence and business driven approach to solving complex challenges Generate revenue by identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations Lead project work streams from planning to implementation - manage project resources and budgets effectively while overseeing multiple engagements simultaneously Influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and/or decisions Manage, coach, and develop junior resources and peers, focusing on technical and client service skills to develop careers
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in related field 2-5 years’ relevant experience in immigration or global mobility with exposure to large-scale projects Approved technical certification, CPA license, Enrolled Agent, or membership to state Bar or progress to attaining those mentioned Strong data analysis skills and project management skills An understanding of management information technology systems and immigration legislation Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to confidently influence colleagues and clients Analytical approach; ability to convert complex data into meaningful strategic insights Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment
Ideally, you'll also have
Business development and sales experience Understanding of broader global mobility issues and their connection to immigration Global mindset and understanding of U.S. and non-U.S cross-border immigration issues

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $82,500 to $136,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $99,000 to $154,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
