Group/Division With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers rely on KLA to ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. The Global Products Group (GPG) creates all of KLA\'s metrology and inspection products. The RAPID division provides reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry, serving mask shops and fabs to ensure high lithography yields and cost-effective manufacturing. Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities: Manage a team of systems design engineers. Team responsibilities include: CIP design engineering activities to enhance product robustness, reliability, system up-time, automation, and application domain expansion. Support system-related escalations from beta site teams when necessary. Drive the system aspect of transferring skills and documentation to manufacturing and field service teams. Drive development of the next-generation product leveraging existing technology. Draft and align with senior management on strategy and roadmap. Coordinate and lead corresponding advanced hardware development teams. Track, communicate and manage progress to ensure successful outcomes. Minimum qualifications

In-depth experience with particle beam physics, electron optics or SEM technology and related instrumentation; strong command of general physics, math and computational skills. 10+ years of experience in system engineering development of complex semiconductor systems. 5+ years of proven successful people management experience. Approximately 20% global travel required. Education and Experience

Doctorate (academic) or 5+ years work experience; Master\'s degree or 7+ years work experience; Bachelor\'s degree or 10+ years work experience. Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Range: $163,000.00 - $277,100.00 annually. KLA\'s total rewards package may include performance incentives and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and other voluntary benefits, 401(k) with company matching, ESPP, student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement, career development opportunities, and wellness programs. Pay ranges are determined by role, level and location; actual pay depends on factors including state minimum wage, location, skills, experience, and education level or training.
