Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, selling fan and fashion-oriented headwear and apparel. The Assistant Store Manager PT contributes to sales, customer service, merchandising, and store operations to meet company objectives. Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance; give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity in line with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Control Expenses

Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparation of store schedules that provide proper store coverage and align with wage control guidelines. Follow policies to manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Perform proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws. Open and close the store as required following Operations procedures. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Supervise Associates; participate in LIDS training programs and set goals for sales and tasks with regular follow-up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures. Encourage store associates’ compliance with company policies, safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed; communicate with employees at all levels of the company. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate a computer and relevant software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing for up to 100% of work time; ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Manager PT is eligible for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Education

Reports To

Store Manager For California-based roles: Annual pay ranges may fall between $33,280 - $68,640. You may also be offered a bonus, and other benefits. EEO Statement
