Litmus7 Overview eCommerce Lead position at Litmus7 with responsibilities spanning architecture, delivery, and thought leadership in the eCommerce domain. Responsibilities
At least 12+ years experience in eCommerce domain with full landscape overview across subsystems in Commerce including Customer Experience, User Management, Catalog / Browse / Search, Promotions, Offers & Pricing, Cart & Checkout, Payments, Order Capture and Post processing. Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify (recommended), HCL Commerce, ATG or SFCC to enable a full stack mindset in the current work stream. Exposure to package business components like Builder for CMS, Bloomreach for Search, Payment Gateways; International or Cross Border Shipping adds value. Exposure to event driven composable Commerce architecture with knowledge of cloud systems, especially AWS. Awareness of NodeJS based service implementations in the CSP domain. Experience in moving from monolithic to composable eCommerce architectures; advantageous for the role. Deep understanding of frameworks like REST, GraphQL, JSON, XML. Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, Pub/Sub) and optimizing messaging with parallel processing. Knowledge of CDN, caching (client and server side), and SQL / NoSQL databases. Own and manage the technical direction of the stack to align with business needs and long-term goals. Experience in web technologies such as HTML / CSS, React / Typescript / JavaScript and GraphQL; advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel) is a plus. Regularly conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards. Strong understanding of CI/CD, release processes, high-velocity Scrum environments, branching strategies, and Git/Bucket based code repository management. Familiarity with upstream and downstream system integrations to/from the core eCommerce system (PIM, Search, Order Management, Payment Gateways, Fraud Detection, Tax, AVS, Shipping Carriers, etc.). Serve as the main point of contact with client leaders and stakeholders as needed. Onboarding & Knowledge Transfer:
