Lead and manage the development team to Assess, Modernize, Migrate and Manage Applications and Systems in the cloud and at on premise data centers, at a cost competitive rate. Key activities include Requirements Definition and Management, Service Level Management, Process Design and Management, Business Management, Application Services and Modernization, Cyber-Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Operations, and End User and Service Desk Training A key attribute is the ability to collaborate with the USPS Government representatives to enable mission readiness and success for the critical applications at the point of need. As the Program Manager, you will play a critical role in modernizing applications to optimize operations and sustainment in the cloud. Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline Required Experience
10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management Required Technical Skills / Certifications
Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills to meet the requirement of developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite applications Be able to manage large-scale Information Technology contracts of similar size (over 25 FTEs) and scope (key activities) Preferred Skills
Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites Experience with current and emerging cloud and infrastructure management technologies and business practices Experience with mainframe to cloud application modernization Security Clearance Level
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years. Location
