About the Role

We are seeking a

Deputy Project Leader

to join our

Security and Electronic Systems (SES)

business unit. As part of the

(SES)

Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command & control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project. Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution. Price, track and manage change orders. Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses. Maintain as-builts as work is completed. Document project issues/conditions. Plan and execute project completion and punch list. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Research and compile submittals; pricing change orders and prepare estimates for partially designed projects by finishing the design and preparing a complete project estimate. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Communicate with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, the government, and general contractor representatives. Understand timeliness required for decision making, submission of RFIs, and documentation of verbal conversations or agreements.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type:

No clearance is needed. Education:

BS in Engineering (Preferred EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of experience. Experience managing and building technical teams and programs. Directly working, programming, and configuring security systems. Managing financial performance for various programs. Developing security systems governance model – standards, playbooks and workflows. Developing and expanding service lines. Identifying new business opportunities that expand scope. Delivering and reporting on KPI, SLA, and SLO performances. Experience in programming and configuring Genetec, CCure and Avigilon Security Systems.

Certifications

Genetec OTC, STC and ETC CCure Installer/Maintainer Avigilon

Pay Range
