Overview
AMD’s AECG team is seeking a contractor to support the New Product Introduction (NPI) of Cost Optimized Kits and Debug Hardware Products. This role will focus on launching both internally developed boards and partner hardware solutions, driving product readiness and market adoption. Key Responsibilities
Lead NPI activities for in-house and partner-developed debug solutions and evaluation boards. Develop and deliver internal messaging and training for sales, FAEs, and product specialists. Create external communications including web content, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional materials. Enable lead customers, sales teams, and marketing with product knowledge and tools. Apply deep technical understanding in: Adaptive SoCs, FPGAs, and embedded processing systems. Focus on key markets such as industrial, video & healthcare (IVH), broadcast, automotive, aerospace & defense, data center, and communications. Incorporate customer requirements, market trends, and financial goals to shape product strategy. Leverage technologies common across AMD AECG end markets and promote them effectively. Minimal travel required for customer and field engagement. Preferred Experience
7+ years of experience in semiconductors, marketing, or sales with a proven track record. Strong drive to achieve revenue, design wins, and market share goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer engagement abilities. Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Demonstrated success in launching new technologies or business models and driving adoption. Technical knowledge and/or development experience with FPGAs, Adaptive SoCs, CPUs, and GPUs. Familiarity with AMD AECG’s adaptive processing platforms and their applications from endpoint to edge to cloud. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field – Required. Master’s degree in a technical discipline or MBA is a plus, but not required.
