VLSI Design Engineer for Server / Data Center Products at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Qualcomm is expanding into new areas such as the PC and the Data Center markets and is looking for bright ASIC engineers with excellent analytical and technical skills. This role focuses on RTL design, flows, and methodology for high-performance ASICs in the latest process nodes for High Performance Compute and AI spaces. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced SoC team and participate in innovation and in creating new architectures for new technologies. Responsibilities

Hands-on: Use tools/applications to execute the architecture and design of SOC according to the design protocol provided. Problem-solver: Resolve architecture, design, or verification problems by applying sound ASIC engineering practices with minimal supervision. Design expert: Execute the design and verification strategies according to ASIC, SoC, and IP core specifications and in alignment with project lead. Analytical: Participate in design and architecture reviews and demonstrate analytical skills. Innovative: Identify areas for flow and process improvements through design techniques and automation. Communication: Communicate effectively within the team and with peer teams; strong presentation skills. Team collaboration: Regularly collaborate and share knowledge with other team members to achieve common goals and step up during critical times. Feedback: Provide silicon learnings to the process team, design methodology, IP and SoC design. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. 8+ years of relevant experience in ASIC design, scripting, and architecture. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience; OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience; OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. Pay Range: $164,000.00 - $246,000.00 The pay range reflects the broad minimum to maximum for the location. Salary is one component of total compensation, which also includes bonuses and RSU grants.
