Customer Engagement:
Ensure customers understand Microsoft’s commitment to secure, AI-powered transformation and align priorities to the customer success plan, fostering long-term partnerships through AI-driven insights. Activate partner teams and relationships to drive co-selling strategies and partner involvement early in the sales lifecycle. Assess and qualify sales opportunities using AI-enhanced methodologies; assist in strategy development for pursuing and closing deals. Collaborate across organizations to contribute to deal orchestration and handoffs with minimal guidance; utilize best practices to gain customer buy-in, secure deals, and manage risks. Sales & Pipeline Management:
Participate in sales pipeline reviews to drive forecasting accuracy and meet sales targets; maintain pipeline hygiene across sales and consumption to enable tracking and ensure healthy renewals and expansion opportunities. Assess opportunities in context of feedback to support customer innovation initiatives; utilize AI tools to support growth within the assigned domain and coordinate with partners for seamless handoffs throughout the deal lifecycle. Sales Strategy:
Engage with stakeholders to identify and qualify opportunities; align AI transformation vision with business priorities. Incorporate security principles to maintain trust and compliance; collaborate to develop solutions that enable AI- and cloud-driven transformations; leverage market intelligence to align strategies with trends. Assist in identifying opportunities using whitespace analysis and partner collaboration; align sales plays with customer demands and future market needs. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 2+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR equivalent experience Experience selling business solutions to global customers with a focus on Cloud Native, AI, or Data platform and analytics Experience engaging with large enterprise customers, including managing multiple stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles Additional or Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years in technology-related sales or account management OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years in technology-related sales or account management 4+ years of solution or services sales experience Compensation
The typical base pay range for this role: IC3 across the U.S. is USD 87,000 – 164,000 per year. In the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City metro, ranges may differ (up to USD 113,400 – 164,000 per year). The typical base pay range for this role: IC4 across the U.S. is USD 107,600 – 187,500 per year. In the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City metro, ranges may differ (up to USD 145,600 – 205,600 per year). Some roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
