Job Title : Senior Software Engineer

The BYUB Digital Media Group distributes BYUB content via broadband technology (websites, mobile apps, OTT channels) and operates three TV channels and two radio stations with a focus on global reach, innovation, and quality.

What You’ll Do In This Position
Create and maintain relational and non-relational databases
Develop web services and APIs
Develop content management systems (CMS)
Build platform integrations into third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
Develop methods for collecting analytics from software
Develop security methods and code
Develop backend services and APIs for websites
Develop code for mobile applications for iOS, Android, and Windows
Develop code for media applications on connected devices (Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Google TV)
Manage and mentor student developer team
Qualifications
Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
3+ years of development experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ additional years of development experience
Preferred
Master’s Degree in a related field
5+ years of development experience
Experience with AWS

Typical Starting Pay: $99,000.00 to $129,000.00
