Lead Software Engineer - Java, AWS role at JPMorganChase Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer and Community Banking technology - Deposits Platform, contributing to an agile team that builds reliable, secure, scalable technology products and solutions. Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develops secure, high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to probe architectural designs and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies Contributes to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience Proven experience (8+ years) in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, Spring-based technologies in AWS/Cloud environments Demonstrated success in leading and managing software engineering teams, focusing on individual growth and overall team performance Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices Strong background in working with APIs (especially Open API), ensuring efficient communication between systems Proven track record of end-user support with excellent problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Agile methodologies Excellent intercultural, verbal, and written communication skills Strong infrastructure knowledge including Unix, Windows, networking and scripting Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with technology discipline expertise Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Experience working at code level Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, with a focus on public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure About Us
