Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for designing, developing, delivering and operating secure, reliable and scalable services for AppStream 2.0. Shape the roadmap to evolve the service to meet customer and technology needs. Drive design and implementation of software initiatives, collaborating across teams and functions to achieve goals. Analyze operational metrics and implement best practices to minimize engineering churn and improve productivity. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence; communicate status, risks and strategy to senior management. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of engineering team management experience 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams 3+ years of designing or architecting scalable systems 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services Knowledge of full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and live-site operations Experience partnering with product or program management teams Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software features, designs, and strategy Experience recruiting, mentoring and managing teams of software engineers About The Team
