This role focuses on building software on Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms to support provisioning line of business processes, from processing orders to enabling Sales and automating reporting. Role Description
We are a fast-paced agile team of developers, testers, and PMs that take business needs from concept to reality. You will have a solid foundation in APEX (or equivalent) and MuleSoft, and will write efficient, scalable code. You will develop through all phases of the development lifecycle, design systems to enhance build, release, and environment pipelines, and work with Salesforce APIs, profiles, security model, and deployment processes while maintaining development and test sandboxes. You will document best practices and provide execution guidance to BT Ops. You should be a self-starter, capable of owning tasks, working under pressure, and juggling multiple tasks with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will contribute ideas and collaborate on projects beyond your domain expertise. Responsibilities Develop custom software for Provisioning line of business on Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms. Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle from design to production. Design and improve build, release, and environment pipelines to support scrum teams. Provide expertise on Salesforce.com APIs, profiles, security model, and deployment processes. Maintain and configure development and test instances for internal sandboxes. Create detailed best practices and documentation for applications to the BT Ops organization.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience programming in APEX, MuleSoft, or similar languages A related technical degree Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com SOQL and SOSL Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com security model Excellent understanding of full stack development of services and microservices in AWS Experience with database concepts and data modeling Experience in developing tools for DevOps processes like CI/CD, Salesforce deployment, and code management
