Sentara Health is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as Director, Finance/IS. Location: Norfolk, VA. Work Shift: First (Days). Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift. Position Location: In person hybrid preferred; remote can be considered. Standard Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET). Responsibilities
The Director, Finance/IS provides leadership through financial analysis, management and decision support to assigned areas. As an essential member of the division's senior leadership team, this role ensures the organization\'s financial health, supports clinical and administrative functions, and aligns financial operations with strategic business objectives. Leads and coordinates financial management with the Vice President, and IT support staff at Corporate. As an essential member of the division\'s Senior Leadership Team, this director provides management input to improve/maintain performance of Sentara. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. CPA or master’s degree. 4 years healthcare experience. 6 years accounting/finance experience. Knowledge of IT division work is valuable to this role. IT work in a financial support capacity experience is helpful. Benefits
