The

Principal Platform Engineer

shall have senior software engineering experience building and operating cloud native and hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms (commercial, govcloud, SIPR, and on-prem cloud infrastructure) at an Individual Contributor Level. A successful candidate has prior experience deploying AWS resources in multiple ways and supporting automation of platform management at the enterprise scale. What we are looking for

Bachelor Degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience Five-plus (5+) years of experience building production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Three-plus (3+) years' experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go Three-plus (3+) years of experience in Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls. Demonstrates deep understanding of modern microservices architectures, design patterns, resiliency techniques, and optimizations. Experience with managing, reporting, and facilitating certification of access for all in-scope resources (including SaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems). Five-plus (5+) years of experience leading teams building and developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, etc. Five-plus (5+) years of experience building developer platform services and APIs that scale in production. Experience working closely with the client and other key stakeholders to provide strategic input and help navigate needs and tradeoffs to build extensible digital solutions Experience managing infrastructure and developed APIs/platform services for tenants to use container services Experience with Linux operating system Enjoy collaborating with the team to plan story points, sprint themes, etc Experience with at least one agile methodology, including Scrum or Kanban Ability to obtain a Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft Clearance Requirements
