The Role We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to lead the North America Marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans to grow retail sales through new launches, brand animations, and retail marketing strategies. This role will partner directly with our product development teams in Korea to bring new innovation to market. This role will oversee influencer, social, PR, retail marketing, brand marketing, and paid media. The brands under this roles remit will be Kaja, I Dew Care, Im Meme, and Nooni. This role will be critical in ensuring the success of Kajas launch at Ulta and our multi-brand launch at Target in February 2026two major strategic initiatives for the company. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for building out a strong team to support our fast-growing business. Core Responsibilities
Market, Consumer & Product Innovation
Act as the in-house expert on the US beauty market and US beauty consumer to directly influence product innovation and creative development Leverage US trends, US market dynamics and US consumer insights to impact innovation roadmap, creative development and marketing strategy Analyze market segments to determine need gaps in portfolio online and offline, key consumer targets and predict future trends Identify new innovation opportunities, align with US General Manager on the opportunity, then partner with Brand teams to bring product to market Partner with the Brand Development teams in Korea to ensure product concepts, formulas, copy, naming, packaging, etc are relevant for the US customer and competitive within the US market Brand Marketing & Planning
Responsible for setting the brand vision, brand strategy and innovation roadmap for the US market for the next 3 years Responsible for every aspect of how the brand is marketed and communicated to the US market Responsible for driving US omnichannel sales growth for all brands through strategic marketing planning and execution Develop, own and execute annual brand marketing plans to ensure brands achieve its annual sales targets; ensure plan is executed in a timely manner Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for key launches including the Kaja launch at Ulta and the launch of multiple MBX brands at Target Responsible for influencer, social, public relations, retail marketing (including visual merchandising), brand marketing and paid media Lead cross-functional teams to execute brand/launch/retail activations outlined in the brand strategy and marketing plan Responsible for omnichannel content creation & optimization for PDPs, social and paid media Responsible for developing and executing the brand-level media plans Work with our agencies (i.e. PR) for all consumer-led activations (i.e. eventing, press events, etc) Management, Budget & Analysis
Build and develop a high-performing team that can support rapid brand and channel growth Responsible for successfully leading and developing members of the team Motivate marketing team towards brand's strategic vision, business objectives and marketing plan Inspire marketing team, and cross-functional teams, with outside of the box ideas, concepts and plans Ensure sales forecast accuracy, track and analyze COGs, and make pricing recommendations for new launches & price increases Responsible for the development, monitoring, reconciliation and review of Marketing budget; partner close with General Manager and sales team to ensure we are hitting our P&L targets Responsible for monthly forecasting and actualizing retail sales by brand and by retail sales channel Minimum Experience and Skills
Experience working in marketing within the beauty is strongly preferred Experience working with omnichannel retailers in a marketing function is strongly preferred Experience working on visual merchandising strategy, planning and execution is strongly preferred Minimum of 10+ years of progressively responsible experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods businesses Exceptional financial acumen required including proven successful experience with budgeting and P&L management Proven leadership skills including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories Proficiency in G-Suite, PowerPoint & Excel Competitive compensation Monthly allowance for both cell phone and internet Unlimited Paid Time Off + Paid Company Holidays Location
