Position : Construction QA, QC and Electrical Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities

Provide reliable, timely, efficient support to the Data Center / Mission Critical team. Work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the project organization; plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. Carry out commissioning processes and deliverables covered in ASHRAE commissioning guidelines. Demonstrate expertise in electrical equipment/systems installation, startup, pre-functional inspections, acceptance testing, and associated commissioning activities. Have working knowledge of Mechanical and Plumbing equipment/systems installation, startup, pre-functional testing, inspections, acceptance testing, and commissioning activities. Collaborate with General Contractors, sub-contractors, inspectors, AHJs, and others involved with QA/QC and Commissioning for critical facility construction and commissioning. Contribute to design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases with strong management and technical functions. Protect JLL’s contractual position and ensure work meets contracted requirements. Develop Commissioning Plans and Commissioning Specifications. Implement and execute electrical and EPMS QA/QC inspection programs for large, complex projects, including developing inspection and commissioning checklists, test scripts, procedures, and related documentation. Carry out field-based commissioning activities: site visits; start-up/test form development; witness and approve contractor execution; functional and integrated systems test scripts development and execution. Perform commissioning design drawing, specifications, and submittal reviews. Schedule, lead, and document project commissioning meetings. Develop and execute seasonal/performance tests; write detailed SOPs and MOPs; develop site/project Systems Manuals. Proficiency in QA/QC and Cx software applications (e.g., BIM360, CxAlloy, Facility Grid) and related tools. Develop/review/evaluate vendor training programs for installed equipment and systems. Support project documentation requirements, including preparation, review, and issuance of documents to meet timelines. Coordinate field activity components, schedule, and liaison with JLL and project team to maximize efficiency/productivity. Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites across the USA. Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience, with at least 5 years in building commissioning and/or construction QA/QC and Commissioning field services. Engineering or technical degree from an ABET-accredited program preferred. Commissioning Professional certification from a recognized industry authority. Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a strong asset but not required. Ability to use electrical testing meters and equipment; analyze and report test results including Power Quality Meters (PQM), thermography, NETA tests, ground tests, hi-pot, megger, etc. Knowledge/experience with testing utility transformers, UPS systems, generators and associated automated paralleling switchgear, ATS/STS, Fuel Oil systems, PDUs, EPMS, and related electrical power generation and distribution systems. Strong data management, communication skills, and proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel. Ability to coordinate and organize multiple project schedule inputs into a master schedule and deliver project/status reports; analyze and report against contractor schedules. Experience in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset. Compensation and Location

Estimated total compensation : 120,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
