Overview Infosys is seeking a

SAP MDG Principal Consultant , you will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities

Key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert in SAP MDG, contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.

Engage in business process consulting, define problems, and propose and create solutions.

Participate in development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution.

Guide teams on project processes and deliverables; contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building; help detail the project scope.

Shape value-adding consulting solutions to meet client needs in a changing global landscape.

Location and Travel Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson/Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA or Lisle, IL or be willing to relocate to any of these locations. The job entails extensive travel and may involve sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be substituted for each year of education.

At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Work with technical teams to design future state solution architecture to support MDG implementation.

Execution of all phases of MDG implementation.

Develop solution/design recommendations for data modeling, integration, and synchronization.

Share perspectives on best practices, common technical issues and approaches.

Hands-on configurations on SAP MDG framework for data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling, rules and derivations, BRF+.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Expertise with SAP MDG configurations and replication configurations.

Experience in UI modeling, including UI design, navigation elements, data quality, validation and derivation rules.

Technical knowledge of MDG workflows, UI Field Property Changes and ERP tables.

End-to-end implementation lifecycle experience (Blueprinting, fit/gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, go-live).

Preparation of SIT test scripts and ability to execute SIT independently.

Data replication framework experience (IDocs, RFC and Web Services).

Knowledge of MDG APIs and their use cases.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent English (spoken and written).

Proactive problem-solving approach; ability to lead large implementation teams; onsite and offshore coordination.

Project planning and status management in an AGILE – Scrum environment.

Familiarity with project tools (Dynamics, RevTracks, JIRA).

Experience with ECC and/or S/4HANA; experience with other SAP modules like MM/SD is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits The job entails an extensive travel schedule. Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in the listed locations will be provided, e.g., Lisle, IL: $118,446 to $153,980. Infosys provides a competitive benefits package including:
