Overview

High School Services Director – Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF). This full-time position supports the Willie Mays Clubhouse and is benefits eligible. Schedule: Monday-Friday (specific hours vary by day; 40 hours during summer). Position Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Clubhouse Director, provide a continuum of services for 9th–12th grade members including academic case management and support, job readiness, career exploration, mentorship, and college preparatory support. The goal is for every high school member to graduate with a diploma or GED with a clear transition plan to college, work, or vocational training. Location: Willie Mays Clubhouse, BGCSF. Key Responsibilities

Academic/College Preparatory – 30%:

Manage tutoring, academic support sessions, and mentorship program. Communicate goals and resources to youth, schools, and parents/guardians. Facilitate community service projects and leadership programs. Partner with the Clubhouse Education Liaison to ensure quality educational support services. Job Readiness/Career Exploration – 15%:

Facilitate job readiness and career exploration programming in small groups. Manage internship and job opportunities for youth via workforce development services. Design programs based on career interests of high school-aged youth. Mentorship/Counseling – 25%:

Build life skills into programs to help members transition out of the Clubhouse at 18. Assist members with developing academic, career, and personal/social goals and plans. Use data to develop programs meeting member needs. Administrative – 15%:

Manage attendance and participation data. Attend required meetings, conferences, and training. Perform other duties as needed. Maintain professional appearance and standards. Other Job Segments – 15%:

Promote high school membership in Teen Services, facilitate integration into other departments, coordinate with Citywide Directors for consistency, conduct outreach to diverse teens, facilitate Teen Night, collaborate with community agencies, supervise department facilities, and transport members as needed. Requirements

Required Skills

Comfortable driving company vehicles (12-person van). Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of employment (direct services & BHS). Preferred Skills

BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university or related work experience. Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 25 lbs (15 lbs for admin). Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours consecutively. Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for long periods. Benefits

The wage range is estimated at $27–$29, depending on skills, experience, licensure, and organizational needs. Salary Description: $27-$29
