What You’ll Be Doing
Command the courtroom in misdemeanor, felony, and complex criminal matters Build trusted relationships with clients, treating them with empathy and respect Strategically prepare cases, draft motions, and argue in front of judges and juries Represent clients in state courts throughout Northern Virginia—and potentially in federal court if licensed Who We’re Looking For
Licensed in Virginia
and ready to hit the ground running At least 3 years
of courtroom and trial experience (felony and jury trial experience preferred) Prosecutors welcome
– we love warriors who know both sides of the courtroom Federal court admission (EDVA) and
Spanish fluency

Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, whether at the office or detention centers, to assess their legal requirements and develop an optimal case strategy. Supervise a diverse caseload that covers misdemeanors and felonies, managing each case from inception to resolution. Attend hearings and trials conducted in state courts located in Northern Virginia to represent clients effectively. Support clients by preparing, filing, and presenting legal documents such as court motions and memoranda to state judges in Northern Virginia. Qualifications
Admission to the Virginia State Bar. A minimum of 5 years of experience in criminal defense is preferred, which should include handling felony cases and conducting jury trials. Proven track record of effectively handling both state and federal criminal cases is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must for successful client representation in and out of the courtroom. Compensation
$115,000+ annually
