Overview
Atlas Geosciences NW, a growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking a mid-level environmental geologist/scientist/engineer for one of our offices in Puyallup/Tacoma, Issaquah, or Olympia. This is a full-time position performing soil, groundwater and/or soil vapor investigations, remediation projects, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and various research, report writing, and other office and field tasks. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, or environmental engineering and 4 to 12 years of direct environmental consulting experience (above and beyond advanced degree or other institutional research work). Responsibilities
Conduct soil, groundwater, and/or soil vapor investigations and remediation projects. Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Engage in research, technical report writing, and other office and field tasks as required. Qualifications
B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, or environmental engineering. 4 to 12 years of direct environmental consulting experience. Proficiency in technical report writing. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required. WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred. Location and Employment
