Director of Finance

hireneXus A private equity-backed, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Finance to support corporate financial strategy and operations in partnership with the CFO. This role is responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across the organization, and will work closely with the Value Based Care team to support ongoing initiatives and business performance improvements. The position is remote with travel a few times a quarter.
Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive financial planning efforts, aligning systems, teams, and resources to support long-term organizational objectives.
Develop and manage complex financial models that drive key strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Oversee the annual budgeting process in partnership with regional leaders and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
Direct the preparation of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and executive business reviews.
Present financial performance and forecasts to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors with clarity and strategic insight.
Conduct internal financial assessments, benchmarking, and market/competitive analyses to inform strategic direction.
Build and evaluate financial models for strategic partnerships, contracts, and Value-Based Care arrangements.
Support M&A activity, including due diligence, financial assessments, and post-acquisition integration.
Contribute to the development of board materials and actively participate in strategic leadership meetings.
Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient workload management, professional development, and high performance.
Monitor departmental spending and enforce adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Support internal and external audits and manage special financial projects as they arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (required)
Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration (preferred)
Substantial senior-level finance experience with a track record of driving business performance
Experience within private equity-backed or high-growth environments
Background in healthcare, value-based care, or multi-site operations (preferred)
