A law firm in midtown Manhattan specializing in commercial real estate with ~30 attorneys is hiring a Senior Attorney, Commercial Real Estate Lending with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience.
MUST HAVE strong experience representing non-institutional lenders
(PE & VC firms, Hedge Funds, etc.) related to commercial real estate transactions. Salary up to approx. $275k, plus bonus, 401k match and revenue share for new client business. Hybrid work structure. Must be licensed in NY, and must have a J.D. (or LLM in U.S. if Bachelors earned outside the U.S.). Base pay range
$225,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Represent non-institutional lenders, in creating loan documents pertaining to mezzanine, subordinated and preferred equity loans, mortgages, construction and bridge loans, etc. for commercial real estate transactions, from beginning to end. Manage workouts, restructurings, and secured finance transactions, and create term sheets, credit agreements, letters of commitment, fee letters, forbearance agreements, participation agreements, etc. Qualifications
Must have strong, hands-on experience representing non-institutional lenders (PE, VC, Hedge, etc.). Must be licensed in NY, and must have a J.D. (or LLM in U.S. if Bachelors earned outside the U.S.). A PLUS: Experience representing BOTH institutional lenders AND non-institutional lenders. Experience representing institutional lenders ONLY is NOT a fit for this role. Note
