Overview

Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution of SEC reporting and global technical accounting compliance. This role manages the Manager and Senior Analysts, ensuring timely and accurate filings, robust technical analysis, and alignment with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations. Lead quarterly and annual SEC reporting processes (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), including preparation of complex areas and review of MD&A and footnotes. Oversee Core Financials, including cash flow, as well as quarterly disclosure checklists, and XBRL Tagging review. Collaborate with various departments to gather and consolidate financial information. Review responsibilities for Benefit Plan Statements, Proxy, and ESG reporting, as well as quarterly earnings releases and related scripts. Lead performance and documentation of financial reporting SOX controls. Lead review of staff workpapers. Oversee technical accounting research and prepare memos on complex topics (e.g., revenue, leases, impairments). Review memos for recurring accounting areas and transactions. Lead research and implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory guidance. Monitor and evaluate new US GAAP, SEC, EU and other regulatory development and impact to the Company, and draft meeting agendas and summaries for senior management. Support the Director in maintaining and updating the global accounting policy manual, including for expansion needs for business growth and new accounting areas. Manage and mentor the Manager and Senior Analysts, providing coaching and performance feedback. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team members are up to date with current accounting standards. Coordinate with global teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Ensure adherence to SOX controls and internal audit requirements. Represent the FRTA team in cross-functional meetings with Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Tax. Lead preparation of annual Financial Reporting Calendars and annual Materiality threshold assessments. Qualifications

BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent field. Active CPA license required. Master’s degree (MS/MBA) a plus. GRI Professional or SASB FSA Professional Certification a plus. 8+ years of combined experience in public accounting and global public company reporting with $4B+ in annual revenues. CPG or Footwear industry company experience preferred. Advanced technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX, and IFRS and demonstrated experience applying theories, methods, principles, and practices. 5+ years of people management experience and leading cross-functional projects. Proficient in Workiva (EDGAR, XBRL), Hyperion, Dodeca, Business Intelligence, and Oracle GL. Proficient in Microsoft applications, including remote work tools such as MTeams, Monday.com, Sharepoint, etc. What We'll Give You

$170,000 - $180,000 The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
