About This Team The Citrix Consulting (CCS) team focuses on new and advanced capabilities of our products and use cases to help expand a customer's journey with Cloud Software Group. You will collaborate with other Citrix go-to-market teams to execute on a shared vision with our customers and help them achieve their strategic goals. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that prioritizes adaptability, knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and high-quality outcomes. Job Description
As a Lead Consultant at Citrix, you will drive successful adoption and expansion of our solutions for a diverse range of customers, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies. You will work with significant autonomy, applying your deep technical expertise to design and implement solutions within complex enterprise IT environments.
You will collaborate with go-to-market and product teams (including Account Technology Strategists, Solutions Architects, Product Managers, and Engineers) to understand customer needs, provide expert product guidance, and align technical challenges with Citrix capabilities. You will assess, design, and deploy technical solutions with minimal oversight, ensuring quality and adherence to industry-leading practices.
Success requires hands-on experience with core Citrix technologies (Virtual Apps and Desktops, DaaS, NetScaler Gateway) in enterprise IT deployments that include cloud infrastructures and automation. You should also be eager to learn and master emerging technologies at the forefront of Citrix innovation and be prepared to work in a lab environment.
Beyond project execution, you will be a recognized expert in consulting methodologies, capable of leading multiple engagements and initiatives concurrently. You will contribute to the team's growth through coaching and knowledge sharing and identify opportunities to support mentorship, training, industry events, and the Citrix Community to shape leading practices and promote new solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Possess a deep understanding of core Citrix technologies (Virtual Apps and Desktops, DaaS, NetScaler Gateway) and extensive experience in enterprise IT environments.
Act as a trusted advisor, highlighting the value of Citrix technologies by leveraging subject-matter expertise across designated focus areas. This includes navigating customer decision points, delivering customized demos, leading complex assessments, designs, implementations, and providing insights on competing solutions.
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, applying advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to ensure successful resolution.
Document unique and complex configurations to establish organizational knowledge and maintain delivery consistency.
Collaborate with Citrix Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback influencing product roadmaps and solutions based on customer needs.
Manage and execute technical projects across multiple customer engagements, ensuring seamless delivery, high-quality outcomes, and strategic alignment.
Build awareness of emerging capabilities and use cases among customers and internal teams, using success stories to facilitate adoption and remove barriers.
Contribute to internal initiatives (e.g., webinars, reference architectures, guides) to support Citrix technology onboarding and adoption.
Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering professional growth and contributing to the team\'s collective expertise.
Ability to travel up to 10% if required.
Required Experience/Skills
Minimum of 7 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., engineering, professional services, advanced technical support) within a high-tech or enterprise IT setting, with experience leading and delivering complex technical solutions.
Excellent customer service demeanor and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels of an IT organization.
Specialized knowledge of Citrix products and/or complementary or competing technologies.
Knowledge of End-User Computing (EUC) engineering and architecture, including virtual desktop and application delivery, advanced endpoint protection, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
Hands-on experience with scripting and APIs to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of Citrix and/or cloud resources.
Proven ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in large-scale IT environments using data-driven troubleshooting.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; strong public speaking abilities for clients, internal teams, and industry events.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Ansible, CloudFormation Templates).
Experience with operational considerations and best practices in an enterprise IT organization.
Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Certifications are strongly preferred.
Ability to engage with different levels of audiences around business goals and technology strategies.
Education
Bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent demonstrable expertise via professional experience and industry certifications.
