Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking highly talented and technical consultants to help accelerate our growing Professional Services business. This is an excellent opportunity to join AWSs world class technical teams, working with some of the best and brightest engineers while developing your skills and career within an innovative technology company. Our Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and focusing on delivering successful outcomes for customers. We collaborate across the AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to deliver the right solution and drive feature innovation based on customer needs. Overview Do you like helping U.S. Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems? Are you familiar with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks? Do you have the consultative and leadership skills to launch projects on a trajectory to success? Responsibilities Collaborate with Intelligence Community customers to educate, design, and build cloud solutions on AWS. Contribute to architecture discussions and deep-dive education and design exercises to create innovative cloud solutions. Engage in a variety of projects and work with product and service teams to arrive at the right solutions for customers.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience 1+ years of software development tools and methodologies Technical degree or equivalent experience Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware and storage Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA and FedRAMP

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $118,200/year to $204,300/year, varying by market location and experience.
