Your Impact
Responsible for the production of highway, interstate drainage and local stormwater improvement projects.
Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses.
Ensure that drainage designs comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards.
Prepare drainage related regulatory permits.
Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from Phase I drainage studies to final design.
Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants.
Develop drainage scope of work, budget, and schedule.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of drainage designs and reports.
Who You Are
15+ years of drainage design experience required.
IL PE is required.
BSCE is required.
CFM is a plus.
IDOT and ISTHA drainage design experience required with proficiency in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and stormwater modeling software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM and HY-8.
Ability to provide guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Ability to monitor project progress with respect to project budgets, scope of work, and schedules.
Two-Dimensional Hydraulic Modeling experience in SRH-2D is a plus.
