Overview
SAP - Quality Management (QM) - Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN. EY is seeking a forward-thinking SAP professional to join our Technical Consulting team. Location: Anywhere in Country. This role focuses on leveraging SAP QM to improve client operations and deliver lasting results within EY’s SAP service line capabilities. Your Key Responsibilities
Interact with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into SAP QM configurations and solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions for SAP QM projects. Prototype and design SAP QM solutions, leading discussions on functionality to support informed decision-making. Demonstrate SAP QM capabilities to stakeholders and identify any gaps or client-specific needs. Translate business needs into system configurations, ensuring SAP QM setups align with customer objectives. Develop detailed functional specifications and translate them into technical designs with developers. Perform data mapping and conversions as part of SAP QM implementations. Demonstrate new features and improvements after configuration and development completion. Provide support during testing activities and resolve issues identified during testing. Develop training materials and deliver end-user or “train the trainer” sessions according to plans. Provide post-go-live support to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Collaborate across teams and integration points to ensure seamless alignment of system components. Skills & Attributes for Success
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in defining and analyzing technology-enabled business requirements. Experience with system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis. Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree. Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience with SAP ERP, focused on Quality Management modules. Strong technical skills in application functional design and requirements definition, analysis, and mapping. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Ability to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40–60%. Nice to Have
Prior consulting experience or deep functional SAP experience. SAP certifications. Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of the core module. What We Offer
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges (US): $102,500–$187,900; NYC Metro/Washington State/CA ranges: $122,900–$213,400. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension/401(k), and generous PTO. Hybrid work model with client-facing roles typically in-person 40–60% of the time.
