Accounting Manager
to take ownership of core accounting functions—month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and system cleanup—while partnering closely with our Finance Director and operations team. This is a highly visible role in a lean, tight-knit team, where your expertise will help maintain consistency and drive process improvements across three facilities. This isn’t a “just keep the lights on” role—you’ll be rolling up your sleeves, navigating evolving structures, and contributing to critical reporting during fiscal year-end in June. What You’ll Be Doing
Take full ownership of accounting manager responsibilities (with no direct reports) Drive month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency Maintain financial reporting integrity and support transparency across the organization Collaborate with the Finance Director and finance operations team on systems cleanup and process improvements Coordinate across multiple facilities to ensure consistent accounting practices Prepare and deliver heavy reporting during fiscal year-end (June) Adapt quickly in a dynamic environment shaped by recent organizational changes Who You Are
Background in the
wine industry strongly preferred A hands-on accounting expert who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving structure Highly collaborative and transparent communicator Strong accounting fundamentals paired with experience in financial systems Comfortable shifting between priorities and locations as needed Someone who values accuracy, consistency, and cross-functional teamwork Why You’ll Love This Role
