Arcadis is seeking a

Senior Asset Management Consultant

to join our Resilience Water Team and work on a variety of engagements with our Asset Management practice nationally. The Senior Asset Management Consultant will deliver asset management projects for the water and wastewater utility industry. Candidates should understand industry-accepted asset management tools and techniques including asset management planning and gap assessments, asset inventory, condition and consequence-of-failure assessments, life-cycle cost analysis, operations and maintenance programs, and capital investment planning. We are interested in candidates in the South Region, but for the ideal candidate this can be negotiated. The role involves working independently as well as on teams with management consultants, IT professionals, engineers, and scientists from various backgrounds. Some tasks require a combination of technical and non-technical skills. A strong intellect, the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively, and the talent to establish and solidify relationships with internal and external stakeholders are important for this position. Role accountabilities

This role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of asset management plans and programs. Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, conferences, etc. Development of strategic asset management plans Development of service levels, performance measures, and business process improvement initiatives Collaborate with others to analyze utilities’ operational business processes and decision support system solutions Perform consulting tasks related to business process analysis, asset registries/inventories, criticality, condition assessment, and repair and renewal needs Analyze large utility GIS, maintenance, data collection tools, or condition assessment databases to support inspection, condition assessment, and planning programs Evaluate asset management activities, including asset inventories, technology support, consequence of failure, condition and remaining useful life, repair and renewal needs, and cost projections Provide recommendations for improved operations and maintenance practices and supporting technology to minimize asset life cycle costs Improve asset management technology support with master plans, business process improvement, data integration, and related technology applications Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications: 8 years of consulting experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a municipal utility B.S. in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Engineering Management Preferred Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills with experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a team with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and to build internal and client relationships Why Arcadis?

Salary range for this position is $82,400-$152,000/year, with actual salaries varying by experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
