Compensation
Base pay range: $68,000.00/yr - $92,000.00/yr. The starting base pay for this role is between $68,000 to $92,000 per year, and the actual base pay is dependent upon factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(k) with matching. Position Summary
You will report to the Director of Manufacturing. The Warehouse & Logistics Associate is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of medical devices and supplies, ensuring all warehouse activities comply with regulatory standards and company guidelines. This position manages both inbound and outbound shipments, maintains accurate inventory records using inventory management software, and coordinates closely with logistics carriers to guarantee timely deliveries. The role upholds a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering strictly to FDA, ISO, and company safety protocols. In addition, the Warehouse & Logistics Associate supports the resolution of shipping and inventory issues, collaborates with internal teams, including quality control, finance and production, and plays a pivotal role in maintaining exceptional customer service and continuous supply availability. Responsibilities Assume full responsibility for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring 100% order fulfillment accuracy and on-time delivery within the first 30 days. Oversee daily logistics operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of medical devices and supplies in compliance with FDA, ISO, and company SOPs. Take charge of all inventories and warehouse management functions within 60 days, including the implementation and execution of effective cycle counting and physical inventory procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Develop and standardize warehouse, logistics, and inventory control processes within the first 90 days, establishing operational best practices that ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. Continuously monitor key performance metrics such as order accuracy, delivery timeliness, and inventory integrity, taking corrective actions as needed. Identify and execute opportunities for long-term process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. Cultivate a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment, actively participating in and promoting safety programs and protocols. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (such as quality control and production), logistics carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations and customer satisfaction. Respond promptly to shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment issues, providing solutions that support continuous product availability and high service levels.
Qualifications
High school diploma or associate degree plus at least 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination in a medical device manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and common business software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, email) for documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Exposure to regulatory compliance standards such as FDA and ISO relevant to warehouse and product handling. Knowledge of finance and accounting compliance principles as they relate to supply chain operations, including invoice processing, audit support, and alignment with finance teams. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain tasks including inbound/outbound shipment handling including international shipments, cycle counts, and process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with customs clearance procedures, including required documentation (commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificates, customs forms). Understanding and application of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes for proper classification of goods for import/export duties. Experience with inventory management and supply chain key metrics like order accuracy, on-time delivery, and cycle counting. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across quality, production, finance, and logistics teams. Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset focused on identifying discrepancies, improving processes, and ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance. Self-motivated with a growth mindset, accountability for personal and operational performance, and adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
Additional Requirements
Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items. Perform tasks that require standing and walking for long periods up to the entire shift. Lift, carry, push and pull 25 to 40 lbs. Use buddy system as needed. Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other people. Ability to work in a highly detailed environment where mental focus and accuracy of work output is essential. Good organizational, oral and written communication skills, including ability to represent the Company to both internal and external audiences. Must have adequate vision (corrective lenses permitted) to read labels. Tolerance for working in noisy environments with machinery running (hearing protection provided). Regular use of standard office equipment in addition to time in the warehouse (office and warehouse space). Must be comfortable donning PPE including safety glasses, shoes gloves, lab coats, hard hats, earmuffs, respirators or other PPE as needed.
