The Community team is seeking a customer-focused Director to lead the team responsible for building early access communities to shape product roadmaps, inform launch messaging, and build and foster community advocates.
The Director will partner closely with product, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure the community is central to how Adobe builds and ships products. This role will lead a team of community product and program managers, driving community betas and NDA customer programs across creative audiences and categories. They will create strong cross-functional partnerships to incorporate NDA feedback into product roadmaps, share progress back to the community, and create infrastructure to make community interaction a central part of Adobe\'s product value. The impact will be a community-led roadmap, improved customer sentiment, and greater connection and empathy between Adobe and the creative community for core strategic audiences and product areas across the business.
What youin do What you''ll do:
Lead a team that builds engaged NDA communities to foster product and GTM feedback on Adobe's latest offerings
Manage beta programs for strategic product initiatives
Grow & nurture engaged NDA communities for key customer segments that can be used for real time communications between product and marketing teams and the audiences they are trying to reach
Build scalable infrastructure and processes to support advisory boards, discussion groups, and scaled online spaces for community members to connect with Adobe and each other
Drive strategy and execution for surfacing insider communities across Adobe's product and service ecosystem
Be a strategic partner for PMM, PM, and community leaders, briefing the community and getting input on new product innovations
What you need to succeed
BA/BS Degree preferred OR 15+ years of experience in community or marketing OR equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of experience in people management.
A love for the Adobe's creative community
Familiarity with the creative professional and/or creator audience
Experience with product strategy, product planning, user-centered design, product-led growth, customer feedback cycles, iterative development
Expertise in scaling engaged NDA online communities
Customer-centricity and credibility to be a trusted advisor for senior leadership
Ability to work in a matrix organization and be entrepreneurial within a large, cross-functional setup
Experience building teams from the ground up and scaling teams within a larger organization
Willingness to be a player/coach, leader/doer
Familiarity with using AI data tools to synthesize and prioritize community feedback
General strategy or product strategy consulting a plus
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $157,300 -- $301,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
