Compensation: $160,000 - $196,000 + annual bonus
Location: Tampa, FL or Stamford, CT
Responsibilities The Director of Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Primo Brands. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive growth, enhance competitive positioning, and ensure alignment with the company’s mission and vision. The successful candidate will lead strategic planning initiatives, analyze market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-impact projects that advance the company’s objectives in the dynamic beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the annual strategic-plan and budgeting process, including scenario-planning, KPI tracking, and cross-functional alignment
Develop 3–5 year corporate-level growth strategies: market entry, portfolio optimization, pricing architecture and channel expansion
Oversee M&A diligence and integration: target screening, commercial and financial modeling, synergy capture, post-deal tracking
Conduct competitive landscaping, consumer-insights synthesis and macro-trend analysis to inform strategic pivots
Lead and facilitate content development for monthly operating reviews, Board of Directors updates, and investor presentations; package complex analyses into crisp, actionable roadmaps
Partner with FP&A and Corporate Finance to evaluate capital allocation decisions and ROI on strategic initiatives
Build and mentor a high-performing strategy team; establish best-in-class tools, dashboards and governance rhythms
Contribute to strategies that promote innovation and align with corporate sustainability and social responsibility goals
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or a related role, preferably within the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
Track Record : Strong track record leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity to deliver pragmatic, data-driven recommendations that drive growth and market share
Analytical Skills : Expert financial-modeling skills and comfort with large P&L statements, balance-sheet impacts and scenario-analysis, as well as strong ability to interpret complex market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Communication : Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Leadership : Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic projects
Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of the beverage market, including consumer trends, supply chain dynamics, and regulatory environments
Strategic Thinking : Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on innovation and long-term growth
