Senior Product Manager, Platform and Self-Service – GenStudio at Adobe. Location: Onsite (San Jose) | Team: GenStudio Product. Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen. We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! What You’ll Do
Self-Service & Trials Define and implement the self-service strategy for customers to explore GenStudio through trials, freemium offerings, and guided onboarding. Build in-product onboarding experiences, workspace provisioning flows, and smart upsell paths that reduce time-to-value and boost activation. Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, and Sales to launch free-to-paid pathways, usage-based thresholds, and upgrade prompts aligned with enterprise needs. Define access models, role-based permissions, and provisioning logic that support enterprise-ready trials and scaled onboarding. Instrument activation funnels and adoption metrics to drive iterative improvements based on data. Platform Extensions, UI SDK & Integrations Define and lead the roadmap for GenStudio’s extensibility platform, focusing on the Extension Framework. Collaborate with Engineering to build a secure and performant UI extension layer that allows users to embed custom widgets, workflows, and analytics views within GenStudio. Partner with Developer Experience and UX to deliver comprehensive documentation, onboarding toolkits, and sandbox environments that make it easy to build and deploy extensions. Work with customer developers, consultants, and internal teams to gather feedback on extensibility gaps and prioritize integrations for real-world marketing workflows (e.g., DAMs, compliance systems, analytics platforms). Ensure extensibility meets enterprise needs for security, governance, versioning, and interoperability across domains and use cases. You’re a Great Fit If You
Have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, developer platforms, or creative tools. Have owned or launched self-service trials, freemium models, or PLG motions—and understand how to improve conversion and retention at scale. Have worked on access control, user roles, and workspace provisioning in multi-tenant environments. Are technically fluent—comfortable collaborating with engineering on SDK design, API integrations, or front-end plugin frameworks. Have experience with UI SDKs, micro-frontends, or similar extensibility models in design systems or enterprise platforms. Are customer- and developer-obsessed: you’ve built products for both and can balance ease of use with flexibility and scale. Can lead projects end-to-end—from defining product strategy, writing detailed PRDs, validating solutions with customers, to coordinating cross-functional execution. Thrive in fast-paced environments where experimentation, iteration, and ownership are expected. Compensation and Notices
