VP, Strategic Partnerships – New York, NY (Hybrid)

Marquee Brands is seeking a VP of Strategic Partnerships to lead development, strategy, and execution of integrated brand partnership and live event initiatives across our portfolio. The role focuses on driving new revenue streams, creating value for the brands, and delivering impactful programs and activations for sponsors and partners. The executive will oversee the Partnerships team, collaborate with internal departments, and maintain key relationships with brands, agencies, and other stakeholders. What You’ll Be Working On Build and implement comprehensive strategies that drive new revenue streams and enhance brand partnerships. Partnerships may include live events, integrated brand packages, spokesperson and data mining opportunities. Ideate, identify and secure new partnership concepts and deals across the Marquee brand portfolio which will maximize revenue for the organization. Oversee all aspects of execution of branded live events, including ideation, venue selection, securing sponsors, marketing and ticket sales and creative execution. Work closely with marketing, brand, PR/comms, legal, and other internal departments to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements and deliverables. Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to capitalize on new Partnerships opportunities. Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals to prospective clients, showcasing value and alignment with their brand objectives. Oversee the Partnerships budget, ensuring revenue goals are met while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Create sponsorship offerings to include innovative and engaging activations that enhance fan and customer experiences. Monitor and report on sponsorship sales performance metrics and ensure targets are consistently achieved or exceeded. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 10+ years of experience in partnership/sponsorship sales. Proven track record of securing large sponsorship deals. Experience with ideating, selling into and executing branded consumer events. Demonstrated experience managing and motivating sales teams to achieve high performance. Extensive network of relationships with brand executives and decision-makers in relevant industries. Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of market research, data analytics, and performance measurement in sponsorship sales. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
