Power & Cooling (PAC) team is seeking a results-oriented individual with strong business judgment and experience working with internal and external stakeholders to own material planning for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment. Our Material Planning Managers are high-energy self-starters excited to work across different functions to deliver power and cooling equipment to our data centers globally. As a member of the Power and Cooling Supply Chain Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering long lead equipment to support power and cooling needs of our data center. This role\'s primary responsibility is to build next generation demand planning and forecasting infrastructure for the Power and Cooling team. The role will collaborate across design, projects, construction, and supply to develop an integrated forecast on a global scale. You will also be responsible to audit and track inventory status and materials from Purchase Order Placed to delivery and drive the appropriate supply strategies to deliver continuity of supply. Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end planning process for delivering power and cooling equipment in the assigned region. Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which includes performing demand planning, supply planning, and ensuring there is interlock between demand and supply. Build process for forecasting long lead equipment Partner with technical teams for developing automation to identify and fix forecast errors Develop and implement change management process for enabling rapid schedule alignment and design changes. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for supply chain planning, forecasting demand, and coordinating procurement activities. Responsible for change management and coordinate changes to purchase orders and delivery schedules with global supply managers, sourcing managers, and internal customers. Partner with data center demand planning team to capture customer demand and plan for equipment delivery using supplier lead times. Responsible for tracking and mitigating risks related to material planning or equipment delivery. Own business reviews and metrics to support improved decision making and on-time deliveries across business partners and stakeholders. Identify factors impacting the timely communication of purchase orders. Own performance metrics covering on-time delivery, manufacturing lead times, shipping lead times, and for all builds within your regions. Be single point of contact for internal customers for long lead equipment planning and delivery. Resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or poor-quality deliveries requiring immediate replacements or field service. Lead cross-functional projects to meet commitments and objectives while managing plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to lower risks and reduce lead times. Influence partner processes, technologies, and policies to achieve mutual benefits for both organizations in a sustainable manner. A day in the life

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain or related fields 6+ years experience in supply chain management, material planning and/or supply planning role Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience in supply chain management, order management, material planning and/or supply planning role Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations preferred 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain (Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling, Lifecycle management) Strong Working knowledge of S&OE and S&OP with implementation experience Tools and Advanced Planning Systems Software Action oriented, results driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and effectively manage multiple projects at the same time APICS and/or IBF certification (preferred) Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Experience managing a team of direct reports Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
