Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Arista networking equipment to support a critical infrastructure upgrade at NIWC Point Loma. The team recently transitioned from Cisco to Arista hardware and currently lacks in-house expertise with the new platform. This role offers a competitive rate for candidates with senior-level experience and relevant certifications. Key Requirements
Strong experience with Arista Networks hardware and software. Preferred certification: Arista Certified Cloud Network Professional (ACCMP). Candidates with ACCNA will be considered if they demonstrate strong hands-on skills. Willingness to pursue IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP) to support network configuration tasks, even though it's not immediately required for IAT Level II roles. Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support for Arista network infrastructure. Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and associated software tools. Collaborate with a team of network engineers and technicians to ensure reliable and secure network operations. Support operational troubleshooting and maintenance in a large-scale LAN/MAN/WAN environment. Coordinate network outages and maintenance activities with high attention to detail. Desired Skills
Deep understanding of the OSI Model. Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Experience with VPNs, wireless technologies, IPS, WAN accelerators, and related systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
