The General Manager (GM)

drives strategy execution by overseeing and managing all aspects of the Ready Mix product line, including but not limited to full P&L, marketing and sales, production, distribution, quality control, maintenance, health and safety, sustainability and land & environment. This position will oversee two regions, the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area and the Moorhead, MN / Fargo, ND metropolitan area, requiring regular travel to ensure both areas have the necessary support. The focus includes customer centricity, employee productivity and operational efficiency, safety culture, and employee retention/satisfaction through maintaining a positive working environment. The GM translates customer requirements into production strategies and processes that improve margins. Develops sales and marketing plans, operational plans and related policies and procedures. Supervises and mentors subordinates. Monitors activities and satisfies reporting requirements in line with company policies. Responsible for financial performance including budgets and forecasts, achieving profit and cash targets, improving working capital, and capital expenditure decisions. Leads by example and models the company’s values. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Assess market opportunities and develop annual business plans by segment, product pricing and related expenses. Establish sales goals and develop market expectations for sales and marketing functions. Execute sales strategies to develop new opportunities, increase market share and promote profitable sales growth. Provide excellent customer service to stakeholder groups by addressing issues promptly. Build long-lasting relationships with customers. Ensure quality through evaluation of production and distribution processes and material inputs/outputs. Partner with support functions to ensure the highest quality product is delivered. Drive innovation and sustainability by accelerating green growth and promoting green product offerings and green operations. Support the region in achieving profit and cash targets by identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating with other regional product lines to leverage resources. Oversee preparation of operating budgets and forecasts. Conduct sales operations reviews, monitor drivers affecting financials, and review KPIs to measure productivity and goal achievement. Determine capital needs and manage the capital process. Communicate and promote safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards. Create a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Maintain safe working environments and ensure compliance with local, state and federal safety regulations; coordinate with the safety team. Demonstrate a commitment to advancing safety culture through adherence to safety policies in all work environments. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience. Additional Education Preferred: Master’s degree. Field of Study Preferred: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Sales and Marketing, or related disciplines. Required Work Experience:

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). SAP, Qlik Sense, and Google Meets/Zoom experience preferred. Travel Requirements:
