JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES: You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. General job duties for all store team members include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facility daily. Training: Orientation and on-the-job training. Communication skills: ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions/Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions and Physical Demands
Work conditions include exposure to varying weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36F (cooler) to 90F+ in some areas. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500F+, sharp edges and moving parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical Requirements
Standing, walking (varied surfaces), and ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, occasional stairs, range of motion details such as reaching and bending, and typical deliveries to store and to customers. Driving duties include navigational skills for deliveries, safe driving, and exposure to weather. Other tasks include carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for price changes or maintenance. Other details include: own transportation to and from work, ability to deliver to doorsteps, and ability to work shifts that may require standing for extended periods. PHYSICAL DEMANDS and TASKS: Eye-hand coordination, use of hands for tasks such as dough handling and using pizza tools, lifting and carrying ingredients and supplies, and lifting cardboard pizza boxes and trays as needed.
