US Citizenship Required *Pending Contract Award* Responsibilities Onsite Senior Network Engineer to provide expertise on Extreme Networks products and solutions. Provide networking concepts, protocols and technology recommendations, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network security. Maintain Extreme Networks products such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools. Manage network related projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, including network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure expansions.
Qualifications
BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience. One of the following IAT Level II certifications (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification. Applications without a certificate will not be considered. CCNA Certification or equivalent required. Applications without a certificate will not be considered. Extreme Networks Associate (XNA) certification required. Applications without a certificate will not be considered. 10+ years of relevant experience working with network infrastructure, with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions. Experience with: VMware NSX, Ruckus, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Brocade MPLS, Cisco, Aruba Networks, Airwave, ClearPass, Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM, Extreme Networks MLXE, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Security clearance.
