We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. System/Cloud Engineer to join our IT team in the banking industry. You will manage and enhance IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of core business applications. This is an on-site role requiring experience with Exchange, SharePoint, SAN, and Azure. Responsibilities
Hybrid Infrastructure Management: design, implement, manage, and secure hybrid infrastructure including on-premises Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, on-premises Exchange, and cloud resources (AWS/Azure/GCP). Windows Server Administration: manage and optimize Windows Server environments; Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Microsoft Exchange Administration: maintain on-premises Exchange, ensure reliable mail flow; contribute to potential migrations (e.g., to Microsoft 365). Linux System Administration: administer Linux-based systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS). Automation & Efficiency: identify automation opportunities and develop scripts/tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) to streamline deployment and operations. Requirements
Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes; strong containerization with Docker. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with Nutanix (Prism Central and related tools). Proficiency in CI/CD using Jenkins. Proficient in containerization/orchestration and IaC practices (Terraform, GitOps). Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) responsibilities including system availability, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability reporting. Architect scalable observability, reliability, and CI/CD frameworks; experience with Honeycomb, Prometheus, Datadog, and the ELK stack. Equal Employment Opportunity
